The scalp is cleaned and prepared. Numbing options may be used for comfort. Small injections are placed across the thinning areas of the scalp. The treatment typically takes 45–60 minutes. Most patients describe the sensation as mild to moderate pressure. For best results, treatments are done in phases: Initial series of 3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart, followed by maintenance every 3–12 months depending on your response.
