About the Treatment

What is PRP/PRF Therapy?

PRP facial treatment, often called a "Vampire Facial," combines microneedling with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) or PRF, prepared from a small sample of your own blood. Microneedling creates tiny micro-channels in the skin, and PRP is then applied or injected to help stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture, and support natural skin repair. This treatment is commonly used for skin rejuvenation, fine lines, early wrinkles, acne scars, uneven skin texture, and mild skin laxity.

Your Experience

What to Expect

A small amount of blood is drawn and processed to prepare PRP/PRF. A topical numbing cream is applied for comfort. Microneedling is performed to create controlled micro-channels in the skin. PRP/PRF is applied to the skin or injected into targeted areas. The full procedure typically takes 45–60 minutes. Most patients describe the sensation as mild to moderate warmth or vibration. Treatment schedule includes an initial series of 2–3 combined sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart, with maintenance every 6–12 months or as recommended.

Candidacy

Ideal Candidates

You may be a good candidate if you want a non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatment, have mild to moderate texture concerns or acne scarring, are in good general health, and are willing to complete a treatment series for best results. Treatment may not be recommended for patients with active skin infections, certain blood disorders, pregnancy, or some medical conditions. Your provider will review your health history before treatment.
